Biological invasions

Biological invasions

Biological invasions research is based on several invasive insect species in Europe and aims to :
• Update the list of exotic insect species in Europe and analyse traits associated with their successful establishment and expansion
• Develop tools for predicting potentially invasive species and early detection
• Identify and track the origin of invasive insect species
• Develop mathematical models to estimate invasion risks and assess management effectiveness
• Measure the ecological impact of invasive forest insect species, including on the conservation of endangered forest insects or species
