Quarantine laboratory

The "Insects" quarantine laboratory, to study the biological characteristics of potentially invasive exotic insects, was commissioned in 2010 and re-certified successfully in 2015. It has been used for experiments on Chinese insects identified as a threat to European forest trees, Asian capricorn Anoplophora and invasive butterflies Paysandisia, pests of palm trees.
