Research

The research unit :

The objective of our research is to characterize at genetic, physiological and behavioural levels, populations of forest insects that are invasive or expanding under the effect of climate change, analyse the mechanisms governing the success of biological insect invasions, measure ecological and economic risks and derive management measures.

The research is divided into two strands: «Populations expanding under the effect of climate change» and «Biological invasions». They are based on a multidisciplinary approach involving researchers specialized in entomology, ecology, genetics, physiology and applied mathematics.
